About Me
Growing up in Newfoundland, Canada, I loved to read. I would read mostly horror, sci-fi, and fantasy novels. I had a teacher who was proud of how much I could read, but she encouraged me to branch out to literary fiction. She would pick extracurricular books out for me, and I ate those up too—and then promptly return to books about aliens and ghosts. I also ate up so many books about world religions and mythologies that my elementary school librarian would order more in, knowing she could count on me to check them out and justify the purchase.
After high school, I went on to earn a BA in Religious Studies. I then married an American soldier and began the life of a military spouse. We’ve lived in three different states since getting married, but currently I reside in El Paso, Texas.
Today, I will still read almost anything, and I am so grateful that I can turn my love for reading and writing into a career.
